Hovercraft

Event Type: Build Event, 2 Team Members

Short Description: Prior to the competition, participants will design, construct, and calibrate a self-propelled air-levitated vehicle that moves down a track.

Materials: Hovercraft built ahead of time, Papers/Notes, Tools, Spare Parts, Up to 2 Class III Calculators, Goggles

General Overview:

• Create a hovercraft (machine levitating via fans) to travel to an ending point as close as possible to a designated time from 6.0 - 26.0 seconds, varying per tournament.

• You get 2 runs- If your first run is good, you can request the second run be for bonus points
